Hey there new user! Below are the steps outlined showing how to start using Spin!
First things first, a smartphone will be needed to use our service in most markets. If you have one, great! All you will need to do is go to your native app store and download our app. The app is called "Spin - Ride Your Way".
Once downloaded, you can register by entering either your Facebook information or using your email. After creating a password, your account will be set-up pending payment information and adding an initial balance of $10. Users are required to add $10 before riding. By adding your payment information, the $10 will be added once you complete the payment section. If you wish to opt out of the automatic reloading feature, please toggle the option to "off" on the payment screen.
After all the steps above have been completed, you are now ready to use Spin! Access the scooter map on the main page and locate the nearest "orange scooter blip" on the map which indicates the nearest scooter to your location. Once you locate the nearest one to you, scan the QR code by selecting "Scan Now" and scanning the QR code located near the middle of the scooter handlebars. Once scanned, the scooter will unlock and you'll be on your way!
After your trip is over, end it by pressing the "end trip" button - the bike trip will end on the app. That is it! If your market contains permitted and non-permitted areas, make sure to park in the appropriate zones to avoid issues with ending your trip.

(You may notice a hold on your account when using our service. This hold is used to verify accounts for security purposes, and will immediately drop off once you end your trip.
